Elke-Margrit Offutt, age 74, of Largo, FL, died Oct 28, 2018 at The Regal Palms Largo from pancreatic cancer. She is preceded in death by her parents Harry and Ingeborg Droune’. Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Loren; daughter, Stephanie Kennedy (Chris) of Bastrop, Texas; son, Derrek Offutt of Largo, Florida; grandson Devin; and great aunt, Elke Luetten, of Hamburg, Germany.

Mrs. Offutt was born in Germany and was a teacher on and off for 40 years in MN and NC. She retired from Onslow County School District in North Carolina after more than 20 years of teaching service .

SERVICES: All are welcome for a celebration of life service, which will be held on December 1, 2018. The service will be held at 3 p.m. at Rainbow Village , located at 11911 66th Street, Largo FL, 33773. Casual dress (mom loved her shorts and flip flops).
