Annie's obituary
Annie Wylde-Beem
August 14,1955 - May 11, 2022
After a brief and intense battle with cancer, Elizabeth Ann Wylde-Beem, AKA “Annie” passed away in her Warrenton, Oregon home with her husband Ken by her side. Annie grew up and spent most of her life in beautiful, sunny Ventura, Ca and graduated from Ventura High School in 1973. She recently moved to the Northern Coast of Oregon to escape the busy city life and enjoy the tranquility of the Oregon coast. There, Annie and Ken enjoyed the small town life, Oregon’s stunning coast, deer and elk in their backyard, as well as being close to 3 of Annie’s lifelong friends who all moved to the area before her. Annie was a life-long Artist and Maker. She enjoyed many arts and crafts including jewelry making, wearable art, doll making, beading, glass fusing, sewing, fabric dying, knitting, felting…the list goes on and on! She loved a good project and you would often find her in her studio, or out and about working on a craft of some sort.
Annie was preceded in death by her Mother, Nancy Oeschle, and is survived by her husband, Ken Beem, step-children Travis Beem and Annie Lowe (Brendon) Granchildren Johnathan, Skylar, Trisha & Scarlett Beem, and Brody & Sadie Lowe, her Brother & Sister in law Gary and Nancy Oechsle and 2 nephews, Haden & Allen. Annie will be greatly missed by many extended family members and her best friends who she remained very close with, including Mary Schlunegger, Kelly Norton, Mary Brady, Dione Rubio, Candy Corcoran and many more whose lives were touched by her friendship and kindness.
A memorial will be held in Annie’s honor in both Oregon and Ventura, details to follow soon. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to your local animal shelter in Annie’s name.
