Personal note from Betty's Family: Phyllis Wing Wadsworth Dente

Betty was my older sister. Older by a year and 5 days. Taller, smarter, more talented, especially musically.

In high school she was always in advanced placement.

She played the piano for the high school and church choruses. During high school summers she taught swimming at the Jewish girls' camp in the Berkshires. She was always frustrated because the girls came to swim classes in full make-up, with their hair up in rollers. They refused to put their heads in the water!!

Betty was always the church choir secretary wherever they lived.

While living in Venice, she was the secretary to a female lawyer. A job she really loved. I think that was her first full-time job.

Corliss always had dinner ready for her when she got home!!

Betty had a great marriage and a loving family. She loved living in Venice!

I hope she is singing happily in Heaven!!
