Sending my condolence to the family of Bestey. It was such a pleasure to be with her after the rescue from her home. Betsey's recovery was a retreat and well cared for from our Lafayette/Arnaudville community. Prayers and love through out her life's journey into the spirit world.
My condolences to Betsey's family. I first met Betsey a few years ago with an archivist, seeking to meet her and her collection. We discovered that she was in Harahan, simply retired and living in her home studio. I was honored to have had the privilege to become friends and support her along with her archival project, which was her lifetime's work. I will continue to honor her wishes for the legacy of her skills and dedication to the historical architectural photography to be recognized. Betsey was a great story teller with a sense of humor. She will be missed.
I am so sorry to hear this. I thoroughly enjoyed working with Betsey several years ago, helping her organize and sign her amazing photography collection. I hope she will be recognized for the invaluable contribution that she has made to enrich the knowledge and understanding of the almost forgotten landscapes of our past. May she rest in peace 🙏🏼
