Beth's life is a beautiful reflection of the love of Christ that she opened herself up to with a magnanimous spirit, to radiate HIS love to all those that crossed her path.  We were blessed by the few times we got to be with her in person, and also for many many years by her faith filled parents!  People life Beth who reflect Christ's love bring such JOY to our hearts!

Tiba2 terlintas namamu dan mencoba mencarimu by googling ...and  i am so SHOCKED to read "Beth Pradoe obituary"... i clicked and sangat sangat sedih ketika ternyata itu adalah benar dirimu Beth.... less than a month..... ohh Beth....what i can say... i really really sorry for you 😭😭😭😭

She's an angel....  a beautiful heart.... Our Lord Jesus loves her MORE 🛐🛐❤️❤️🙏🙏.

Beth is always very kind and dedicated about children. She is a great mentor and supervisor to me. I admire her and am very happy to have learned many things from her. I will remember her forever as one of people that I truly respect and look up to. Thank you Beth. You will always be remembered. Rest in Peace ❤️
It's so deeply encouraging to read all the ways that friends and family who knew Beth testify to God's many graces in her life, both now and in the past. It's a story of her steadfast hope in our steadfast God that--in all the best ways--Beth didn't seem to change. It has been several years since I'd seen or talked with her, but today's service, the condolences below, and all the Facebook tributes re-created the exact picture of the faithful and fun-loving friend I knew so well for so long in the 90s and early 00s in DC! I'm grateful for leadership experiences she and I shared in campus ministry, the church experiences we had in the same congregation, some hilarious and meaningful road trip memories, and great conversations about all the aspirations that come in that period of life. Most of all what I remember is the abiding challenge to us all that that came from the passion with which she pursued God's call to the nations. No scholar or missionary by herself would have sat down and charted out the exact path Beth took to both 1) excel in a field of study that took her around the world and 2) to bear witness to Christ among such far-flung places in need of his Word. The Lord had one special plan for Beth, one race that he sent her on. Nothing would stop her, and she finished well. Prado family, I was so grateful for every time I spent with you as well. I join in singing the Doxology from here, with sadness but with hope. All blessings indeed.
A great loss. Beth was a loving friend, a former house mate of mine. I learned a lot from her work, wisdom and view of life. She will be missed.  My condolences to her family
Memories of Beth from colleagues in Indonesia and from around the world, some of the many Beth touched with her wisdom and friendship. We miss her dearly, and are forever inspired by her.

Posted by the Summit Institute for Development in Mataram, Indonesia, which Beth co-Founded  and nurtured into a local institute for research and development for maternal and child health and early childhood development.

I’m so sorry to hear of Beth’s passing. She was a gentle and friendly soul. All the brief times I was able to hangout with her are lovely memories I will not forget. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and community.
My deepest condolences to Beth's family, students and fellow academics, and her church family in Sacramento.

I had the privilege of meeting Beth in late 2007 when she returned to Lancaster to finish her PhD after her time in Indonesia and needed somewhere to live.  Initially we lived in a shared house then she moved in with me when I finally bought a small house and stayed until she left in 2009 - with a period away house-sitting for Katie Alcock. We also attended Moorlands Church together.

Her intelligence and devotion to faith in Jesus were very impressive, and the latter is the memory that came back to me as I prayed for her this year and thought of her after she passed on.  It's humbling to remember how she sought to examine her heart to see that it was fully engaged in loving and honouring her loving Father. It's also very comforting to know that she would have passed straight into the wonderful presence of God.

We  also had a love of Indonesia in common, and we had a lot of fun joining in with her friend Maulana's Angklung orchestra and playing with it around the North West of England.

Beth was one of the gentlest, kindest, and most compassionate and loyal people I have known, while at the same time having incredible rigor, creativity, and scientific depth. I feel very lucky to have worked with her as a mentor and colleague for over 20 years, and to have learned so much from her, both personally and scientifically. I send all my love to her parents. I miss you, Beth.
