Elizabeth "Lily" Meyers, 22, of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away on March 25, 2025, in her hometown.

Born on October 29, 2002, in Fort Worth, Lily brought light and energy into the world from the very beginning. Her life was deeply rooted in the Texas soil she loved-especially when it came to horses. A passionate equestrian, Lily found joy and freedom in riding horses and spent countless hours at the stables. One of her greatest joys was teaching her young son to barrel ride. sharing with him not only her skills but also her deep love for the sport and the animals that meant so much to her.

Lily's world revolved around her son, Carter Meyers. Every moment she could spare was devoted to him-whether they were riding together or simply enjoying each other's company.

Her devotion as a mother was unwavering and filled with warmth.

She is lovingly remembered by her father, Charles Meyers; her mother, Becky Etris; her stepmother, Barbara Meyers; and her stepfather, Zack Etris.

Lily also leaves behind her cherished siblings: Brody Meyers, Charlee Meyers, and Ethan Meyers.

A memorial service was held in Fort Worth to honor Lily's life and the memories she created with those who knew and loved her.

May her memory bring comfort to those who knew her and continue to inspire love and strength in the hearts of all she touched.
