Elizabeth (Betty) Louise Johnson (née Illies), 90, of Mound, Minn., recently a resident of Lake Minnetonka Shores, Spring Park, peacefully passed away Tuesday, May 10, with family by her side.
Betty was born in Minneapolis to Bernard and Agnes Illies, on October 12, 1931. She was their first daughter. Ben and Agnes had 11 children altogether.
The Illies family moved to Mound, Minn., in 1942 and eventually started an excavation business called Illies and Sons. …
