Elizabeth Krasinski, lovingly known as Grandma Ezzy, passed away peacefully on September 10, 2023, at the age of 89, in Independence, Missouri. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Elizabeth was born on July 11, 1934, in Springfield, Missouri, where she was raised and spent her early years. It was during her time in high school that she met her husband, John Krasinski, and they embarked on a lifelong journey together. After graduating from college, they were married and settled in Webb City, Missouri, where they raised their three children, Hunter, Michelle, and Clark.
A devout Christian, Elizabeth was a faithful member of First Baptist Church for many years. Her spirituality was the foundation of her life, and she found solace and strength in her faith. She was also deeply committed to serving her community and dedicated her time to various organizations, including the local soup kitchen and homeless shelter. Elizabeth's selflessness and compassion touched the lives of many.
In addition to her devotion to her family and community, Elizabeth had a passion for the arts. She was a talented artist and enjoyed painting and drawing. She also found joy in spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nurturing their growth and creating cherished memories. Elizabeth had a green thumb and loved tending to her garden. She found solace in nature and appreciated the beauty of her surroundings.
Elizabeth is survived by her children: Hunter Krasinski, Clark Krasinski, and Michelle Krasinski. She was a loving grandmother to Ethan, Sarah, Samuel, Emily, Olivia, and a great-grandmother to James, Jessica, Christopher, Elizabeth, Henry, Anna, Benjamin, Amelia, William, Abigail, Thomas, and Susan. She was preceded in death by her siblings: Michael Krasinski and Sarah Thompson, as well as her parents, David and Emily Shultz. She will also be remembered by her extended family, including numerous aunts, uncles, and grandparents.
A ceremony to honor and celebrate Elizabeth's life will be held at Elite Funeral Chapel, located at 11525 Blue Ridge Blvd #2, Kansas City, MO 64134. The wake will take place on September 23, 2023, from 8:00 am to 9:00 am, followed by the funeral service from 9:00 am to 10:15 am. Elite Funeral Chapel has been entrusted with the arrangements, and their compassionate staff will ensure that Elizabeth's final journey is handled with utmost care and respect.
Elizabeth Krasinski will be remembered as a woman of unwavering faith, love, and kindness. Her legacy of compassion and devotion to her family and community will forever live on in the hearts of those she touched.
