Due to Covid, we are going to delay a memorial service for mom. She has been cremated, and is now alongside the ashes of her husband Fred (and their dog Jack). We are planning on going back to Keowee Key in September for a memorial service. We will keep everyone posted on a date.

Elizabeth (Betty) Desmond Duffield passed away, with family by her side, on June 10th, 2020 in Atlanta, Georgia.

She was born February 27th, 1937 to George and Marion Desmond in Gardener Maine. An only child, with a streak of independence, she wanted to go to boarding school where all the rules were the same for all students!
