Elizabeth's obituary
Elizabeth "Ann" Crisp went home to Jesus on December 14, 2024 at age 90.
Ann was born to C.C. and Della Jackson on August 02, 1934 in Candler, NC. She married David Lee Crisp on January 2, 1952. Surviving her are 2 daughters: Debra Daly (Kevin Tidball), and Susan (Teri) Watkins (David Reiff), 3 Grandchildren: Ryan Watkins (Jen), Scott Watkins (Mary), and Megan Murphy (Daniel), and 4 Great-Grandchildren: Knox, Eisley, Chloe, and Jackson; as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to being a dedicated Christian, she was a kind-hearted and generous person, always ready to lend a helping hand, quick with a smile and an encouraging word. Ann was a great cook, a lover of birds and animals/especially dogs! She enjoyed being out in nature and could name most plants, flowers, and trees. She was also an avid reader, and books were her most requested gifts. (that and candy!) Devoted to her family, Ann was a fantastic wife, mother, and grandmother. If you knew her you would understand that we always thought she was a lot like Lucille Ball in her fun personality. Ann was truly a southern lady with all the sayings we call "Mom-isms". She is sorely missed but lives on in our hearts.
"In the Garden" was one of her favorite hymns.
Matthew 6:26 was a verse she would mention if we were worrying about tomorrow.
