Elizabeth Powell, 96, of Portsmouth, Ohio, and formerly the Loomis Park section of Hanover Township and Nanticoke, died Saturday at Golden Years Health Care Center, Portsmouth, Ohio.
Born on May 26, 1911, in Nanticoke, she was the daughter of the late William (Bill) and Jennie Weir Jones. She resided in Loomis Park for many years before moving to Ohio in 1989.
