Background
Betty loved teaching. Her last full time teaching job was at Jones Lane Elementary School in Darnestown, Maryland. She was there from 1987 until her retirement in 2000. All money raised in her memory will be presented to current teachers at Jones Lane to be used at their discretion. She loved kids, she loved teaching, and she loved her family.
Funds are being collected and disbursed by Doug Barden, Betty's son.
