Oh Libby! You were a treasure to work with at KVH. You were a mentor, a leader and a friend. I remember my first Board meeting and how you gently guided me through. You did so in a kind and playful way. You were a strong woman and reflected what leadership as a woman can look like with love and compassion. Thank you for paving the way for the rest of us. You will be remembered always. 💕

Well, this is a shock to me, and I grieve the loss of my friend, mentor, boss, and peer. I met Libby the summer of 2014. I applied for a job at KVH and then called the finance director and said I’m coming by to meet yall! Libby was the CFO and she poked her head in during my visit with the finance director to introduce herself and shake my hand. I’ll always remember the first time we met. I was very entry career and she gave me her time and respect. I was eventually hired and I quickly looked to Libby as a mentor. She was my boss and mentor till she retired in 2018. We always stayed in touch, grabbed coffee here and there, shared “handyman” contacts, etc. In late 2024 I asked Libby if she’d be interested in helping as an interim leader at the hospital. She thought about it for a day and jumped right in to help us out. Still a mentor and a wonderful hospital executive leader. I moved up to CFO role at that time, Libby was always so proud and genuine, and I thank her for her patience and professional guidance through my career tenure. I will miss our random check-in texts and her listening ear. She will be missed.
