I cannot afford it to, by my son at tombstone and he's went with that one since he died in 2021. He was such a good boy and he deserve better than that. For the family help you pay for the funeral as well as the funeral home that donated the vault for his coffin. His birthday is on the 9th of December and it is in fact his 9th birthday. He deserves more than flowers. I made him a makeshift headstone with glow in the dark green and yellow permanent ink but, it is particle wood with a black finish and legs to keep it off the ground, but sadly was deteriorating the last time I went with flowers. So I got a marker on my arm that says "your wings were ready but, my heart was not" with 2 feathers on top of my hand. I may not have been able to afford a marker on his grave better than the one I made him, but I could at least afford one and carry it with me on my arm forever.
It helps my heart not hurt like it does because, along with funerals...headstones are expensive and even though he deserves one more than anyone in this world ever could, I can't afford it. It's something that hurts me almost as much as it does to think back to that day. I just isn't right and I'm asking for help. So I can give him the Honor he deserves and the healing this mothers broken heart... desperately needs.

Memorial events are private

Elijah funeral has already passed as you all know, but we will have a memorial on the day of his birthday regardless of headstone. I want everyone to know how special he was and always will be. And on the day that we are able to reach our goal i will post a video giving thanks to all that gave as a thanks from the bottom of my heart.
