I learned the power of family, community, and marching to YOUR beat. God made us all uniquely, yet the world constantly tells us to be more like this or that. But Eli's life shows us there is another option-- an authentic version of life that breaks the chains that teach us to conform and contort ourselves.

I also learned that no matter what, the love of a mother, the love of family, the love of friends—it doesn’t fade. It stretches across time, across pain, across this earthly life. It holds us up when words fall short. It reminds us that presence matters more than perfection, and that honoring someone’s spirit means embracing them exactly as they are. Eli’s life and this deeply heartfelt, vulnerable gathering reminded me that love is not just something we feel it’s something we become, together.

Our family was deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Eli. Please accept our heartfelt condolences during this incredibly difficult time.

We have fond memories of Eli swimming and laughing as he boldly launched off the diving board with his signature smile …

Eli had a kind and joyful spirit that we will never forget. 

May the memory of his joy live on forever in our hearts.

I remember Eli. I am so very sorry to learn of his passing. He was such a delight to see  and talk to whenever he would come into the school office @ Arroyo Vista School. I will keep Eli and all his family in my prayers. I hope that the you will find comfort knowing how many people cared about Eli.
