It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Eldridge "Ed" Lilly II, who was born on January 25, 1955, and left this world on October 7, 2022. Ed was a loving father, grandfather, uncle and brother, and he will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Ed is survived by his son, Jason Lilly; his grandson, Chase Lilly; his daughter-in-law, Susan Lilly; his father, Eldridge Lilly; his sister, Nancy Gibbs; his brother, Mike Lilly; his nephews, Jonathan and Jeremiah Gibbs, and Matthew Lilly; his nieces, Michelle and Katherine Lilly. He was predeceased by his mother, Linda Lou Lilly, and his sister, Sandra Lilly.

Ed was a retired auto assembly line worker from General Motors and had a strong work ethic. He loved spending time with his family, especially his only grandson, Chase. He was an avid fan of the Red Wings hockey team and would rarely miss a game. Ed enjoyed playing board games with family and friends, and his favorite drink was Mountain Dew.

Ed was a nature lover, and his favorite vacation spots were anywhere in the woods. He took great pleasure in hunting and being outdoors. He was known to be a supportive and caring family man who will always be remembered for his kindness and gentle spirit.

As we say our final goodbyes, let us cherish Ed's memory and the joy he brought into our lives. We will hold on to the laughter, love, and fond memories of a man who left an indelible imprint on our hearts. Rest in peace, Ed. You will forever be remembered and loved.
