Dear Cristi, Cathy, Cindy, Jim, and Carin…I wanted to extend my sympathy to you on the passing of your sweet, wonderful mom. My mom, Nellie, worked with your mom at the Bank of America in Downey, back when they were still single gals (I think Janice Hochgurtel worked with them, also). They remained lifelong friends, although they were seldom able to see each other in person. I have a photo of the 3 of them, and I’ll post it if I can find it. My mom and dad and Wendy and I stopped to see you guys decades ago in Burney, and your folks took us on a boat to see the falls. I was barefoot, and to this day, I remember how incredibly cold the floor of the boat was. My mom and I last saw your folks at an anniversary party (it must have been their 50th, in 2007). Your dad sang several songs, and what a BEAUTIFUL voice he had. It was plain to see that they absolutely adored each other. As you walk each day through this difficult time, may you take comfort in the fact that your mom was so dearly loved and admired. Sending love and sympathy to all of you…Todd Trevett
