I can't believe it's almost a year, and I've just came across this site... 

I've known Elaine since high school, and she was an incredible woman then,at 12/13 years old,a no nonsense girl,stood up for herself and anyone else she felt maybe couldn't do it themselves... 

I'll always see Elaine with a smile on her face, and a cheeky remark at someone's expense, all in good humour however... We'd been messaging on and off for a wee while. The thing that upsets me the most, is that she called me a couple of times, and I missed them both, and it would have been no more than a couple of weeks before she passed... A time difference thing maybe... ??

So so sorry to hear about Elaine's passing, I'm so shocked and can't believe it, she was totally one of a kind and she'll always be remembered for her direct, caring and great nature, there will never be another Elaine
