With great sorrow, we announce the passing of Elaine Barclay Hanna, “GaGa”, who left us on June 25, 2023. Born on April 3, 1970, in Hamilton, Scotland. Elaine lived a life full of passion, freedom, and intimate connection, leaving behind a legacy deeply etched in the hearts of those who knew her.

No memorial events are planned

It was Elaine’s final wishes that her death be “as simple as possible”, so no receiving of friends will be organized in the United States. Instead, she wished her ashes be taken back home to her beloved Scotland to be scattered where she loved the most. I know this is hard to understand. Both Greg and Samantha wish to honor their late wife and mother’s request as honorably as they can.
