Loved and respected by all those fortunate enough to know her, Ela was a beacon of kindness, thoughtfulness, and authenticity, traits that permeated her interactions with the world. She was intelligent, independent, and unequivocally caring and empathic.
Ela's memorial service will be held at 12:00 pm on October 21, 2023, at Temple Beth Israel of Redding. We invite all those who knew her and were touched by her spirit to join us as we celebrate her remarkable life and legacy. The loss of Ela, a soul so full of warmth and vitality, brings an immeasurable void that will be felt by her family, friends, and the broader community.
Ela's legacy is one of unapologetic kindness and generosity. She was someone who left people better than she found them, her actions and words serving as a testament to her positive influence on those around her. Her genuine warmth, coupled with her intelligent insights, made her a beloved individual whose memory will live on in our hearts.
We mourn her loss, but we celebrate a life lived with purpose, compassion, and true joy. May her memory be a blessing.
