Marianne's obituary
Eileen Marianne Volpe suddenly passed in her Bonita Springs, Florida home on December 19 2022 at the young age of 65. Marianne was one of nine children born to the late Dick and Edna O'Keefe in White Plains, New York. She is survived and missed by her husband of 38 years, Dennis Volpe, and her two children, Christopher Miles Volpe and Caroline MacKenzie Volpe; along with her stepchildren Craig Volpe (Alisa), Benjamin Volpe (Julie), and Denise Savino (Anthony). Also survived by her seven remaining siblings. Beloved “Aunt Mares” to so many nieces and nephews. Grandmother of four grandchildren, Jared Brennan, Chloè Volpe, Cash Volpe, and Jaxon Savino, whom she loved to spoil.
Marianne opened up her own clothing store near their home in Fox Lake, Illinois. Once they bought their home in West Chicago, Illinois, she then worked as a dispatcher for the Sheriff's Department in DuPage County. Around 2011 they settled in Bonita Springs to enjoy the sunshine.
Marianne was always the life of the party. She loved to entertain family, friends, and neighbors. An avid Bingo player with a passion for cooking, baking, and interior decorating. She was dedicated to helping others and animals, especially giving to groups such as the ASPCA and St. Jude's Children's Hospital. She had a way of making anyone feel welcome and at home with her bright, outgoing personality that could light up any room. She left lasting impressions on everyone who ever had the opportunity to meet her. There will be a small service held at the VFW post #4254 in Bonita Springs, Florida as well as a Celebration of Life service in DuPage County, Il. The dates are yet to be determined.
