Eileen's obituary
Eileen Kropp Sink, born on February 23, 1947, in Allentown, PA, passed away on October 24, 2024, in Keller, TX, at the age of 77. She was a dedicated registered nurse in OBGYN, known for her compassion and commitment to her patients. Eileen enjoyed a rich life filled with various passions, including reading, solving word puzzles, and sharing laughter with her friends and family.
Eileen was a devoted partner to Rusty, cherishing their time spent together at home. She had a zest for adventure, traveling to numerous countries and savoring new shrimp dishes along the way. Her love for true crime stories was evident in her favorite TV show, "Forensic Files," which she enjoyed watching in her leisure time.
One of Eileen's proudest accomplishments was raising two strong, independent, caring, and successful sons: Jerry W. Sink, Jr. and wife Heather Sink of North Wilkesboro, North Carolina; and Jonathan W. Sink and wife Susan (Sue) Sink of Fort Worth, Texas. She also relished being a grandmother to her four grandchildren: Courtney Caudill, Lauren Eller, Gregory Sink, and Anna Sink, each of whom brought her joy.
Eileen was preceded in death by her parents, Charles C. Kropp and Eileen H. (Monna) Kropp, and is survived by her sisters Sr. Regina (Teadie) Kropp and Margaret (Peg) Stetz, and is preceded by her brothers Charles (Butch) Kropp and Robert (Bob) Kropp.
In addition to her nursing career, Eileen once contemplated a path in mortuary services, reflecting her deep understanding of life and care for others. She had a talent for crocheting and often made baby blankets, showcasing her nurturing spirit.
Eileen's legacy of love, strength, sense of humor, and compassion will be remembered by all who had the privilege to know her.
A funeral mass will be held at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church of Keller, Texas on November 8th at 10:30am. In lieu of flowers, those who wish to make a donation are encouraged to make a donation to their favorite charity in Eileen's memory.
