Eileen's obituary
Eileen Mrozinski, born October 7, 1935, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2025. A woman defined by her stubborn nature, generosity, and dedication to her loved ones, Eileen brought joy and support to everyone around her.
Eileen is survived by her loving family - her daughter Linda Mrozinski, daughter Mary Malaussena, son Thomas Mrozinski, grandsons Dominick and William Malaussena and Christopher Rolser, son-in-law Rafal Simonowsky, and daughter-in-law Fran Mrozinski.
In 1954, Eileen married her soulmate, Thomas Mrozinski. Their enduring love story, spanning 64 years, stood as Eileen's greatest accomplishment. Thomas preceded her in death, along with their cherished granddaughter, Olivia Malaussena. Today, she reunites with them in peaceful rest.
A dedicated volunteer, Eileen extended her love and care to the wider community. She lent her time and support to the Mountain Valley Hospice Foundationinc, a service organization, and the Ruritan National Foundation Incorporated, a civic organization. Her work in these roles was a testament to her altruism and unwavering dedication to service.
Eileen's unique zest for life was reflected in her simple joys. She loved a good Pina Colada and was a fan of the movie Bambi. She often enjoyed games of Bingo and watching performances of Lion King. Cruising was her favorite vacation activity, and she often visited Snappy's Lunch in Mount Airy, NC, a local spot she held dear to her heart. Eager to express herself, Eileen loved the color pink.
Eileen's life was marked by steadfast resilience, unwavering love for her family, and a stubborn determination to do what she wanted. She leaves behind a legacy of loving commitment, service, and strength, a testament to the strength of her character. Eileen is now at peace, reunited with her husband, granddaughter, and several grand dogs.
