Eileen Mary Baxter-Sharp loving Wife, Sister, Aunt and Friend passed away at home on June 10, 2022.
Eileen was born November 5, 1958 in Beach Haven, NJ to Barry and Patricia (Sheedy) Baxter. She received a Degree in Fines Art from Kutztown University in Pennsylvania and went on the Graduate from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City.
On December 21, 2001 she married Manse R. Sharp, III in New York City, the City she loved.
Eileen had many Passions, most of all Art, Fashion and Food.
If she could live in the Galleries of Manhattan, she would. She loved going to see the Masters and the new guard of Artists coming up. She would spend hours gazing and gazing upon Paintings, Photos, Prints, Sculpture or any kind of Mixed Media Art. She loved it.
She was a Designer or a Colorist as she'd say. Making clothes for clients, family and friends. She'd peruse thru fashion mags ripping out certain Designers or something she liked and pin to her board for inspiration. She reupholstered furniture made purses, bags and pillows. She loved it.
She was a Master Chef. She would find a recipe in a magazine and again rip it out, licking her lips the whole time, and save it to make later. The second time she made it, she made it hers by slipping little of this or that in, she’d say to make it better. She loved it.
She was preceded in death by Barry her Father and Pat her Mother. She is survived by her husband Manse, her sister Kathy and her husband Mark Fennell, her brother Barry and his wife Nicole (Tallent) Baxter and by her most Favorite Person in the world their son, her nephew, James Harry Baxter as well as many relatives and friends from everywhere.
A Memorial Service will be held at Our Lady Mother of the Church in Woodcliff Lake, NJ on August 18th at 1pm.
