Mother and Grandmother, Eileen Marie Klatt’s love of life didn’t come to an end with her death. Eileen passed on April 24, 2023, at the age of 65 after a long struggle with COPD, surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor her legacy by living their lives to the fullest.

Eileen was a graduate of the class of 1976 of Mayville High. Her passion to help those less fortunate was evident in her career choice in working with children with disabilities through Friendship Community Care in Marshall, AR. She instilled these passions in her sons and grandchildren by the way she lived her life.

Eileen loved the small pleasures in life from sitting outside listening to the wind blow to spending time with her sons, daughters-in-law, and grandchildren during family dinners. When Eileen could no longer be outside, she would spend her time listening to the windchimes as the hummingbirds flew around her window and catching up with family in Wisconsin via the telephone. These simple pleasures were evident when she told her stories of her childhood memories.

She was a proud mother to five sons: Donald, Shaun, Joshua, Christopher, Jeremy. She was a loving mother-in-law to Mykael and Hope, and a doting grandmother to Melody and Chevy. She is survived by her parents Richard and Nancy Skudlarzyk, numerous siblings, cousins, and nieces and nephews.
