Egan Edward Hammon was born on September 10, 2003 in St. Louis, Missouri to Ed Hammon of Jefferson County, and Tamara Friedrich of Jefferson County. Egan walked into the loving arms of his Lord and Savior, on May 11, 2022 at the age of 18. Egan was preceded in death by his brother, Alex Mitchell, grandmother, Delores Wakefield, great grandmother, Euince Herrod, Aunt, Lynette Fasnacht, and cousin, Zac DePung.

Egan is survived by his parents, Ed Hammon of Jefferson County, and Tamara Friedrich of Jefferson County; one brother, Josh Friedrich, one sister Krystin Mitchell; one brother-in-law, William Froelich, two nieces, Rory Froelich and Mickey Froelich, two nephews, Wil Froelich and Phoenix Mitchell, girlfriend, Kori Dillender, grandparents, Donna McKenzie, Phyllis Sipes, Adrienne Stahl, Tom Stahl; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. While living in Jefferson County, Egan attended Hillsboro High School. He was on track to graduate this May 2022.

Egan was an avid lover of skateboarding and during his young life had played football. Anyone who knew Egan, knew that he had a huge heart. He had an immense passion for his family and was always a source of positivity. His family and friends will miss him more than words can say.

Viewing will be from 4-5 p.m. for Family and 5-7 p.m. for Public on Wednesday, May 18, 2022. Funeral service held at 7 p.m. at Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus, MO. The family requests that flowers be sent to 616 W. Main St., Festus, MO 63028.
