Born on May 5, 1950, in Sagay City, Negros Occidental, Philippines, to Josefina Marquez Dequina and Eduardo Imperial Alba. Efren’s life was a beautiful testament to the power of humor, family, and faith.
Efren was the devoted husband of Natividad Gulla Alba, and a proud father to Harold John Gulla Alba, Chester James Gulla Alba, and Catrina Marie Alba. He is also survived by his beloved sister, Evalou Dequina Alba. His family was the center of his world, and his love for them was evident in everything he did.
As a skilled draftsman, Efren contributed his talents with dedication and passion. Outside of work, he was an avid sports fan and cherished being around children, sharing his infectious humor and kind spirit. His jokes were legendary, and his ability to make others feel at ease was unparalleled.
Efren was also a dedicated member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, living his faith through service, kindness, and unwavering optimism. His home was always a place of warmth, welcome, and laughter—a sanctuary for family and friends alike.
