It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Edwin Omar Sanchez Velasquez, a remarkable man known for his charisma, generosity, optimism.. and long curly hair. Most commonly known by his middle name, "Omar", he was born in 1965 and lived a life dedicated to inspiring those around him. He passed away on November 27, 2023.

Omar is survived by his beloved treasures, Gabriela, Fabiola and Kevin; who were the greatest pride of his life. They are the living testament to his enduring love, boundless encouragement, and cherished teachings.

Omar's dynamic personality accompanied by his loud and hearty laughter graced every room he stepped into. He was a friend to all, and his energetic spirit and hopeful outlook were infectious. He was a dreamer. He believed in dreaming without limits and always challenged and encouraged others to do the same. Omar's legacy is one of enduring faith, regardless of life's obstacles. His dedicated belief in the power of faith and believing in yourself, even in the most difficult times, will forever serve as an inspiration to all who knew him.

Apart from being a father, Omar was also a successful entrepreneur. His resourcefulness and perseverance laid the foundation for his many accomplishments in business. Yet, his greatest success lay in his natural ability to empathize with others, always extending his hand to those in need.

A Celebration of Life for Omar will take place on December 27, 2023 from 4:30 - 8:30 PM at the Eternal Peace Funeral + Cremation Event Center. All are welcome to join and honor Omar's life and his enduring legacy of generosity.

Omar's departure leaves a void that can never be filled. His vivacious energy, unwavering positivity, and infectious laughter will be dearly missed. Our deepest condolences go out to his family and loved ones during this difficult time.

Conocido más comúnmente por su medio nombre, "Omar", nació en 1965 y vivió una vida dedicada a inspirar a los que le rodeaban, encontrando siempre formas de elevar a los necesitados. Falleció el 27 de noviembre de 2023.

A Omar le sobreviven sus queridos tesoros, Gabriela, Fabiola y Kevin, que fueron el mayor orgullo de su vida. Ellos son el testimonio vivo de su amor perdurable, su aliento sin límites y sus preciadas enseñanzas.
