Jacob had one of the kindest hearts of anyone I know. From elementary school to college, any interaction I had with him was full of smiles and light. I pray his family and friends are able to carry that light with them through this profound loss.

My heart is heavy with this news. Jacob was a light in our class and in my days when I was gifted the true honor of being his teacher. He exuded a quiet brilliance. We had some fantastic conversations. He was humble. A gentlemen. Ahead of his years. I wish peace for your family. He lives on in our hearts.
