As sInoy may attest, I have had only a few instances of interaction with bEd. But, we did see each other a lot from the early days of our ministry to the time of God's pruning. Deeply embedded in my heart and mind is bEd's ever smiling visage and chinito eyes - come to think of it, it is exactly like his twin, sInoy, and his ever welcoming gestures always, as if we have not seen each other for so long, even if we had an activity just the night before. I know he loved to keep himself fit not only spiritually, but physically, as well. It is why when I received news of his heart disease, it came not only as a surprise but as a shock. My forever memory of bEd was when he spoke to me the night before the good pruning. I still remember his words - he said, "Please, think and pray about it more, sM. There are so many more opportunities to serve God in different ways if you remain with us." His voice was soft, yet, passionate and full of zeal, zeal not only for our God, but, also, for God's children - service to our Lord, and service God's creation - love for God and love for his neighbor. This is bEd's imprint in me. Thanks be to God and thank you for this opportunity to share this memory with you, sInoy.
