Edwin Ruh Coats

Edwin Ruh Coats, 52, passed away unexpectedly on November 12 in Corning, California. He was born on December 27, 1972, in Sacramento, California, to Joe Boehm and Anita Young, both of whom preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his nephew, Kevin Power.

Edwin is survived by his son, Zachary Coats; his sisters, Sheila Kurten, Patty Chiasson, and Kara Boehm; numerous nephews, including Jonathon Power; and many great-nieces and great-nephews, including Dahlia Power and Killian Power.

He enjoyed traveling, learning about different cultures, and was a lifelong fan of the Cincinnati Reds. He also loved to read. His favorite way to spend a day off was grabbing a coffee, finding a local bookstore, and perusing the aisles.

Funeral service details will be announced once arrangements are finalized.
