I worked in the same Indian Health Service office with Ed around 2001. That was in Rhinelander, WI. I last saw Ed around 2003-2004, give or take in Rockville, MD area. I only FBed him a few time in the ensuing years but I did keep up with his life, also via FB. I regret terribly that I didn't engage with him more as the years passed. He was a great guy, as everyone knows and so intelligent. Today (Feb 12, 2024)I found that he passed, also via FB. I am devastated and I cry for my friend. You think there's always another tomorrow to rekindle a friendship but there really isn't. RIP Ed. The world is now a lesser place without you and I will miss you for the rest of my life.
