Dear Williamson Family:  We pray that God will continue to comfort, strengthen & give you peace during this time.  However, we do rejoice with you that your husband, dad,  &  grand-dad is now resting in the bosom of Jesus receiving the ultimate love and care.

So sorry we were unable to attend the Memorial Service physically.   We were able to see it online.

Reverend Williamson's life was a true testament of how to live for God through Jesus Christ. He most definitely will be sorely missed.

      Sincerely,

          Melba/Roy Suggs, Jr (Tonya's Parents)

My heart is so full of love for this man of God who was so impactful in my life. He will live on in so many lives.  He and Rev. Janice renewed Rev. Swann's and my wedding vows on our 30th wedding Anniversary.  Even after he retired and married his beautiful loving current wife, they were vital in their sacrifice for me. Because Pastor Williamson heard from Father God and would not be swayed with his own desires, but offered to help me to re-purchase the "Minnie Winnie" RV which was, and has been my home.  There is much more to the story, but suffice it to say, I am so grateful.  The impactful messages,  the camping outings, the marriage classes, the friendship, the Godly advice, rescuing and housing me when I was stranded on the side of I-85, in North Carolina.

I am so grateful to my Father God for the high impact life he lived, which will live on in the lives of each of us who were privileged to be touched by this Man of God,  Edward Williamson II!

I am praying for all of those left here, to live life, without this wonderful man of God.  I pray that the joy, love and peace that his life exemplified lives on in our hearts as we remember him.  I pray that his example inspires us to press on to higher heights as we seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness in our lives, so we will go home to Jesus with "well done, my good and faithful servant."

Tribute to

Reverend Edward Williamson, Jr.

Reverend Edward Williamson, Jr. was a blessed man of God. Reverend Williamson (Edward, as we addressed him) honored God by obeying His Word, feeding the hungry, giving water to the thirsty, visiting the sick and shut-in, and those in prison (or confinement). Matthew 25:35-37.

Reverend Williamson, (the late) Reverend Toney Jackson, and I on numerous occasions, shared the goodness of God. The three of us contacted each other on numerous occasions to talk and pray for our families as well as many others. Especially the members of their Church family. He had a heart to educate and provide leadership for many.

Edward was very influential in providing spiritual leadership and mentorship for youth as well as adults. In many cases, he would use his own resources for those in need.

Our prayers go out to Reverend Edward Williamson’s family.

Your Brother in Christ

Charles Jackson (Son of Marian Curry Jackson)
