Edward's obituary
It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of Edward Tindle on October 6, 2025. Born on December 28, 1950, Edward enjoyed a fulfilling life filled with love, music, and family. He leaves behind his loving partner, Maida Gordon; his son, Shawn (Christine) Tindle; his daughter, Nikki (David) Beard, and his dear sister, Sherry (Rick) Higgins. He also leaves behind 9 grandkids and 7 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ernest Tindle, his mother, Maxine Tindle, and his brothers, Rick and Tracy Tindle, whose memories he cherished until his last days.
Edward had a deep affinity for the simple pleasures of life. As a child, he marveled at the serenity of farm life, spending cherished moments at his grandparents' farm. His love for music, however, was the most defining part of his life. Edward's soul was enriched by the rhythms he created with his guitar and the emotions he conveyed through his songwriting. His musical sessions were more than mere entertainment; they were cherished moments of bonding with family and friends, and they created a harmony that strung together his life's fascinating moments.
Edward's legacy lies not in material possessions, but in the rich tapestry of songs and stories he created and shared. His melodic tunes will continue to echo in our hearts, and his tales, brimming with wisdom, humour and love, will keep inspiring us. More than these, Edward will be remembered for his kind heart, his vibrant musical spirit, and his unwavering love for his family and friends.
Edward's life was a beautiful composition of affection, passion and joy. While his physical presence will be sorely missed, his songs, stories, and love will continue to resonate, reminding everyone of the remarkable man he was.
