Edward Swopes, 78, of Montclair, CA, passed away on November 30, 2025 . 

Edward was born on April 24, 1947 to parents Sally and John Swopes .       Edward was a force of nature, determined to provide for his family and give them the life he felt they deserved. His family meant more to his than anything else in the world, something he often mentioned. He was unendingly proud of Wendy , Robin and Marlita  and always tried his best to support them.  Edward was also a passionate racing and his love for hot rods and could often be found in his workshop when he wasn’t at home.  Anyone who knew Edward knew that he was the most loving father, grandfather  and husband a family could ask for. Edward was predeceased by is loving Wife Marlita Sue Swopes . He is survived by Wendy Ann Tynan , Robin Kristine Swopes , Ashely Ann Smith , Samantha Kristine Smith , Trent Allan Smith , Brandon Scott Smith , Oliver Tynan , and Elliott  Tynan .
