Loved seeing Ed and Kim every Sunday after church.  Always ordered the same thing “Sunny Runny eggs, shakin bacon and dry rye.”  Speak of them often in reference to the horrific disease He and Kim fought against with strength and love.  Xo Mary

I can’t believe it has been 4 years. I think of Ed a lot and still feel like it was just days ago that we were nerding out on data and he was telling me about his next ski trip. Miss you buddy

My buddy Ed and I. Miss you always.
Shortly after Ed moved to Boston he saw a homeless man begging on the street. He really didn’t have much money but he told the man to wait for him. He went up to his apartment, made 2 sandwiches, got one of his sweaters, and his extra coat, brought it all down and gave it to the man.

I am deeply saddened to hear of Ed’s passing. We haven’t been in touch in years but he was a wonderful friend and co-worker 20 years ago when I had my very first job out of college. He was always kind and helpful when I was overwhelmed and unsure what to do. He was also so supportive as I dealt with Ben’s deployment to Iraq, and he became a true friend to both of us.

Kimberly, may the waves of grief become more manageable as time passes and you focus on the memories of your life together and those of the people lucky enough to have known Ed.

Our sincere condolences to you and your family. Although we had not met Edward, we have heard from Jane ( My Sister) of your care and devotion to each other over the past years and realized that your love for each other which I’m sure will be greatly missed but savour your memories knowing of the love you shared and may you merrily meet in heaven.
