Edward R. Simon, aged 88 years old, passed away May 15, 2025. Ed was born in Chicago, IL, the son of the late Max & Faye (née Olshansky) Simon. Husband of Ellen Kochman and former husband of Leslie and of Rivian.  Cherished father of Leanne (Mark), David (Sandy), Dan (Melissa), and Jeremy; doting grandfather of Jason, Jessica, Brian, Benjamin, and Zachary; beloved brother of Renee (Carl) and the late Sheila; treasured uncle and great-uncle, cousin, and friend to many, including his devoted caregiver, Grace Kereta. Ed was a proud caregiver to horses, cows, goats, dogs, and cats. He was loving, nurturing & had a great sense of humor.
