I remember eating good food together and you sharing your record players and your amazing collection and love for music. Happy you looked at the hemp building book I shared as I was getting into hemp building as your architecture skills and building with your son inspires family working together. The love and respect with your wife was always felt and know Marc had great loving parents, respect and love to a great Father! Keeping shining light for your family in your memories they will always have.

Uncle Ed was a kind, loving, inquisitive, life-long learner. He was a great friend of my parents and will be missed very much. Praying for comfort and peace for Aunty Stella, Marc, and Sean🙏🏽♥️

Dear Stella akka,

Our sincere condolences for your loss of your beloved husband (my boss at SMC).  My brother, Pierson Prakasam and my husband Deva Prasad Kokila will be attending the memorial service to pay our last respects for him.

Celebrating the Indo-Persian Untermyer Gardens — with Ed and Stella Samuel and Meg Walker and Morey Bean

I met Ed and Stella when Ed and I were architecture students in Colorado in 1977. Ed was a brilliant designer, a hardworking student, and a warm and generous classmate. He even found my first architecture job for me. How wonderful it was to also get Stella into the bargain!   We have remained dear friends to this day through all the moves, jobs, kids, and (on my end) husbands. I cherish the memory of your visit in 2023 to celebrate Untermyer Gardens, for which Stella gave me a gorgeous saree. Ed, you will remain close to my heart forever. It is hard to believe we won't be discussing your thesis ever again. Stella, Marc, Sean, and your wonderful family, you are in our hearts at this difficult time. All my love, Meg

Loving Stella,  you and Ed were really important members of the Metro New York Adventist Forum for many years. The love we shared and our visit each Summer as a community to your home for a service, discussion and memorable food will stay in my memory for as long as I have one--those occasions were unforgettable. The enthusiasm with which Ed sang the hymns, posed questions, and shared his thoughts helped perpetuate and share the very essence of our community.

Dear Stella, we are deeply saddened about Eddy’s untimely death.  Praying that God will give you and your sons comfort and peace.  You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Benoy & Irene Pandit

Ed was tall, beautiful, curious, questioning, kind and loving man. I will remember him fondly from our discussions at the Adventist Forum in New York city.

Dear Stella, I am sending you a gentle hug and wishes for strength as you mourn.

Abundant blessings, love and peace,Sylvia

Dear Stella
