I knew Ed from working on the cable cars and after we both had retired we would see each other at  the cable cars monthly lunch.

When I was on a leave of absence when my wife was going to medical school and we were living in the Bronx Ed would send us interesting  and amazing letters often composed on junk mail that had come his way. It was especially interesting connecting with him that way. I truly miss him!

Share your sympathy. Send flowers from a local florist to Edward's family or funeral.

My Uncle Eddie was a unique and clever individual. He had a wealth of knowledge that he loved to share with anyone who would listen. My family and I always looked forward to receiving his letters and boxes full of toys and knick-knacks. My kids would get so excited when one of his boxes would arrive in the mail. It was always an exciting event opening them!

I will miss our conversations, and miss seeing him when we come out to CA to visit family. I hope that right at this moment, he is having a conversation with his brother Ray, and petting Underdog.
