I knew Ed for about 40yrs.Playing with our poker group, talking and listening to 60's music, competing with our trivia tesm.He was a wonderful person with a sense of humor.Always willing to help, especially if you needed a ride.Condolences to family and friends.
I knew Ed from working on the cable cars and after we both had retired we would see each other at the cable cars monthly lunch.
When I was on a leave of absence when my wife was going to medical school and we were living in the Bronx Ed would send us interesting and amazing letters often composed on junk mail that had come his way. It was especially interesting connecting with him that way. I truly miss him!
My Uncle Eddie was a unique and clever individual. He had a wealth of knowledge that he loved to share with anyone who would listen. My family and I always looked forward to receiving his letters and boxes full of toys and knick-knacks. My kids would get so excited when one of his boxes would arrive in the mail. It was always an exciting event opening them!
I will miss our conversations, and miss seeing him when we come out to CA to visit family. I hope that right at this moment, he is having a conversation with his brother Ray, and petting Underdog.
