Edward J. Molitor, 67, of Markleysburg, PA, formerly of Latrobe, passed away on Monday, Dec. 15, 2025 at his place of residence. Born in Philadelphia on April 12, 1958, he was the son of the late Ralph J. Molitor and Patricia Finerfrock. He will be remembered for his infectious love of music, especially the band Rush, which he played with such enthusiasm that the whole neighborhood had to share in the joy.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Romayne (Jack) Chambers in 2023.

Ed is survived by his wife of 46 years, Kathryn (Zannetti) Molitor, his children Theresa McGinity and her husband Bob, Cecelia Redish and her boyfriend Danny Tuttle all of Latrobe, Nicholas Molitor and his wife Marlana of Mt. Pleasant, Rebecca Burkhart and her husband Jeremy of Ocala, Florida, Felicia Dillie and her husband Jason of Lake Wales, Florida; grandchildren Isabella, Elena, Sadie & newborn Danny, Whom, sadly, did not have the chance to meet. He is also survived by his brother William Molitor and his wife Kim of Front Royal, Virginia, sisters Mary Patricia Morris and husband Mike of Cressona and Tina Schur of Scottdale; and several nieces and nephews.
