Edward's obituary
Edward Joseph Marusak, 86, passed away peacefully at home in Dearborn Michigan on April 8, surrounded by family.
Edward was born in Detroit Michigan on August 20, 1936 to Charles and Sophie (Korwek) Marusak. He attended Wayne State University and joined the Navy and then Marines and was honorably discharged in June of 1962.
Early on, Edward started his passion of coin collecting and turned his hobby into a business which is still managed by his son, James Marusak. Edward worked up until a few days before his passing. On November 10, 1962, Edward married the love of his life, Caroline (Theisen). They enjoyed 60 years of wedded bliss and worked together for many years.
Edward is predeceased by his parents and brother, Richard. He is survived by his wife Caroline, brothers Carl and Alfred, his children Lori Myers, Linda Marusak, James Marusak and grandchildren Joshua Enos, Alyssa Myers, Devin Myers and Matthew Marusak.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 21 at 10:00 am at Divine Child Church in Dearborn. A celebration of life will bee held after the service.
