Mick Maguire, 85

Mick Maguire (Edward Francis Maguire, Jr.), of St. John’s, Arizona, transitioned from this life in the early morning of January 18, 2026, at the age of 85. He was born on April 12, 1940, in Binghamton, NY to Edward Francis Maguire and Virginia Klee Anderson.

He was a devoted member of the Catholic Church for many years. Known for his love of family, gift of the gab and his willingness to help others, he found his greatest joy in spending time with his family.

His final moments were spent exactly as he would have wished: in peace, with 2 of his 5 beloved children by his side.

He is survived by his 5 children; his 9 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and 1 sister. He was preceded in death by his 2 brothers, 1 sister and his parents.

A semi-private celebration of Life will be held on March 28,2026 at 3:00 pm in Peoria, Arizona. Family, friends, and loved ones are welcome to attend and share their favorite memories. The family requests you please call Mick’s phone to contact his family about the celebration .

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Knights of Columbus, a cause close to his heart.
