Brother James will be missed by so many. We will miss his parts at our assemblies. His dedication to Jehovah was admirable and faith strengthening. The last time I was able to spend with Ed was so lovely. He really knew how to make someone feel at ease. I spent about 45 minutes listening to him talk about Jehovah and all the plans he had. His faith was always strong and way stronger than any cancer. Jehovah knew his heart and mind were strong. Jehovah knows exactly where Ed will be in his paradise and that’s teaching the resurrected ones about his father. Until then we will count the days until he’s back and pray for the Holy Spirit to keep his loved ones strong. So much love and thoughts of peace for Margaret, Summeur and Andrew and all the ones that held him close.

I and my family were very saddened to hear of Eds passing. I cant describe the impact that Ed and Margaret had on my life personally, for which I am eternally grateful. Ed was the first brother whom I met when I arrived in the United States, he invited me to sit with him and his family at the meeting and then took me in to stay with them when he found out I was staying in a motel. Ed and Margaret were a wonderful example of Christian love to me by the way they treated me, and how they conducted their lives, and taught me that there are truly no borders in Jehovahs organization. Ed made such an impact on my life that I had him give my wife and I’s wedding talk when we got married. Whilst we moved away and didn’t have as much contact as we would have liked, Ed remained a very big influence in my life. I feel for the family deeply, and know that he will be dearly missed, we all look forward to the day we can be reunited with our friend and brother Ed James.

Ed was in my pioneer class in Buena Park, California. Must be when he and Margaret lived in Anaheim. I remembered him here in Murrieta when he gave a talk in my congregation Hot Springs as it was called at t hat time. He was a fine brother. Look forward to seeing him in Paradise. Love and hugs to Margaret and Summeur. May Jehovah comfort you and all the family.

Hebrews 6:10….. Jehovah will never forget all Eddie’s hard work and love on his behalf.
Jehovah loves you all and will carry you through. Continue to be proud of him and all that he has done on Jehovahs behalf and we are all committed to being there to welcome him back. Margaret, Summeur, Andrew — we love you all.

I was so saddened to learn that Edward had passed, and my heart hurts for Margaret, Summeur and Andrew, the congregation that Ed served as well as all those who loved him. Ed was such a fine example of a loving, faithful and humble servant, husband and father. I look forward to seeing him again (but I imagine even then that I will say or do something to provoke the raised eyebrow 🤨) and hearing his laughter (again, in response to something I say or do).
There is a measure of peace to be found in knowing that the next time Ed opens his eyes, he will be in the Paradise by means of the kingdom that he dedicated his life to teaching about, without any trace of any sickness or pain.
May Jehovah strengthen and comfort all those mourning the loss of Edward.

Summeur, Margaret and Andrew, my West Coast Family, you are in my prayers constantly. After meeting you all, I remember thinking-Brother James is such a quiet, mild Father & husband. He loves Jehovah and his family! I know Jehovah will help you endure this pain in your heart. His nap will be brief, since the New World is “Just Around the Corner!” 🤟🏾❤️
