With great sorrow we announce the passing of Edward Lipay on April 27th, 2023 at the age of 82.

Son of the late Yolanda and George Lipay, he spent his early years in Fosterdale, NY until his retirement as a Nationwide Insurance agent and business owner. He retired to Panama City Beach, FL with his loving wife Elaine where they resided for 20yrs until her passing. The last years of his life were spent in Tampa, FL to be near his daughter Terry Elmenayer and her family.

Ed was a successful businessman servicing the people of Sullivan County, NY with all their insurance and investment needs. He proudly served his country in the Navy as an Electrician. Ed was an avid golfer, cigar aficionado, loved old westerns, military movies and gathering with friends.

Edward is survived by his two daughters, Connie Becker and husband Paul and their two children Casey and Samantha. Terry Elmenayer and husband Mohamed and their two children Yusuf and Yasmeen. His sister Nancy Yoder and her husband Barry. He was also a loving stepfather to Donna Vito, Judith Murns, Steven Schultz, and their families.

The family will hold a private memorial service in his honor at a later date.

Edward will be dearly missed by his family and all who knew and loved him. May his soul rest in peace.
