Obituary Dr. Edward F. Kellenberger (November 9, 1973 - April 7, 2025)

Edward “Eddie” Fabian Kellenberger, age 51, of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, passed away on Monday, April 7, 2025, in West Palm Beach under the care of Vitas Hospice at the Good Samaritan Medical Center.

Eddie was born to Eduardo Raul Kellenberger and Maria Delia Ibanez in Avellaneda, Argentina, on November 9, 1973. Eddie went to primary school in New Orleans and graduated high school in La Plata, Argentina. Eddie married Melissa Paquette on February 11, 2017, at the Biltmore Estates in Asheville, North Carolina. Eddie graduated from the Mayo Graduate School of Medicine. He practiced medicine as a staff neurologist for Cleveland Clinic in South Florida and was a member of the American Academy of Neurology.

Eddie is preceded in death by his late father, Eduardo Raul Kellenberger.

Eddie is survived by his spouse, Melissa Masterson-Kellenberger, his daughters, Antigone D. Kellenberger, Ashley D. Paquette and Caroline M. Paquette. Eddie is also survived by his mother, Maria D. Kellenberger, his sister, Monica Kellenberger of Miami, and his mother-in-law, Dianne E. Masterson as well as many friends and colleagues.

The family of Kellenberger and Paquette wish to extend our sincerest thanks to Vitas Hospice and Father Gavin of Saint Ignatius Loyola Catholic Church in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. We would also like to thank those involved in the planning and execution of the mass and funeral services at St. Joseph’s including Patrick Kinnare, Patty Kemper and the officiating priest. Our sincerest, heartfelt appreciation goes out to the many doctors, support staff, counselors, friends, family, neighbors, colleagues, support pets, Mona and Sue, and others not mentioned by name, who supported us throughout this difficult journey.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 2, 2025, at 10 a.m. at the St. Joseph Historic Catholic Church located at 4124 Loretto Road in Jacksonville, Florida 32223. Burial will follow at the onsite St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery.

Following services, we will have a celebration of life luncheon at Don Juan's Mexican Restaurant located at 12373 San Jose Blvd. Jacksonville, FL 32223. Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society in Eddie’s honor or flowers may be sent to the church on the morning of May 2nd before services between 9-10 a.m.
