Ed Nuss, 74, of Trinidad TX passed away peacefully on May 13th at his home, with his wife (and best friend) by his side.

Ed spent most of his years in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He served in the Vietnam War as a member of the Army. He and Evon married on August 31st, 1974.. Ed worked for Arvco Container for 20 years as a maintenance mechanic.. In 2005, they moved to Texas.

Ed's favorite hobbies included woodworking, fishing, reading, playing cards and board games, projects, helping others and teasing his friends. He will be dearly missed and always remembered.

Ed is predeceased by his parents. He is survived by his wife Evon, brothers Ray and Steve (Joanie), sisters Marie (Bud) and Joan( Jeff) and many nieces and nephews.

Ed agreed to a Celebration of Life to be held in his honor, as opposed to a traditional funeral service. We request all of Ed's loved ones to join us in celebrating his life at 516 W South St, Kalamazoo, MI on Saturday, July 15th, beginning at 11:30 A.M.

His service to our country will be honored at the DFW National Cemetery on Wednesday June 7th, at 11:30 A.M.
