Edward J Smith, born on October 17, 1925, has peacefully passed away on May 5, 2024, in his beloved beach home in Lauderdale by the Sea.  Ed lived a full life with many adventures, especially on the golf course. His passion for the game was what got him to the ripe old age he was.  Edward was also a hard-working businessman that over the years created and owned many companies. His pride being BTS trucking, where his twin sons Peter and Paul and his youngest son Edward worked with him for many years.  

Ed had a vibrant personality and anyone that new him would be sure to have a laugh from all the boisterous stories he told.  He will surely be missed by many.  He leaves behind his siblings Marcy Littlefield and Joesph Smith, grandchildren Casey M Smith and Peter M Smith along with many great grandchildren.  

Ed now joins his family in heaven, Marilyn R Smith, Peter M Smith, Paul D Smith, and Edward J Smith Jr.
