This just broke my heart into pieces.. 💔

I remember when the Bart train broke down & everyone was stuck in the tunnel until the fire department arrived

& long story short i didnt have anyone to come get me I was scared and i didnt know who to call . I eventually called Edward and he didn’t hesitate on picking me up and I loved that about him he always took care of me & I took care of him until one day i didnt hear from him anymore. I called I texted . Nothing i thought he moved on . 💔😔

Here I am years later so unaware of him passing,  just happened to look him up on facebook and see this 💔 i always tried to reach out to him & wish I would have known sooner… but I’m glad that I know that he’s in a better place now 🙏🏽🕊️ rest in peace Eddie 🩵 I love you

I’m going to forever miss you Ed. You were never anything but kind and caring to me and I will never forget you or your positive attitude. I’m blessed to have experienced you for the time I did. Rest in Peace 🕊️⚡️💕

After meeting Ed’s mom, I know without doubt that he comes from a deeply loving family (which explains how generous and helpful Ed always was).

No one deserves what happened to Ed. I truly hope that you all find justice. As opportunities unfold to hold the city accountable, I am happy to be in support (by writing letters, making phone calls, or in some other capacity).

I pray that Ed’s soul is at peace and that he had the opportunity to look to God in his final moments on this side of existence. Although Ed and I weren’t the closest, the news, details and reality of this has been very devastating for me (it’s hard for me to even fathom all that your family is processing - I am still praying for you all).

Reading about Ed reminded me about our call as God’s children…a call to always seek peace, resolution and ways to outdo each other in honor. I wish I had the opportunity to connect with Ed one last time to exemplify the love of Christ and remind him of just how much he is deeply loved in this world and beyond it.

Lord God, please cover this family with your spirit, hold the heaviness of their hearts, reveal the understanding that you have for each of them, strengthen their faith, align the people and conditions needed to bring justice and to hold the right people accountable, walk with them continuously on this new  journey, cleanse their hearts from the pain of this trauma in due time, reveal the ways you would have them honor Ed’s life and legacy, look after them Lord, protect them and provide the emotional companionship they need  through their community and your Holy spirit, and provide for all of their financial needs, Lord Jesus. Draw them even closer to you Lord. We thank you for Ed’s life, and for all we have learned through our relationships with him, Amen.

Immense love to the Horcasitas family. We are all here to take care of each other 🖤

I was shocked when I heard the news of Edward's passing.  Every time I saw Eddie he was smiling and so happy.  This is so terrible and I really hope you find justice for him, he did not deserve this ending, he was such a great person.  I will always remember him laughing and smiling.

My condolences to Edward's family. I first met Edward through his older sister June and my older sister Ariane.  We would often listened to music, watched movies, talked about school, and even went to the gym together for a period of time. He is remembered by his laugh and smile and no fear accept God mentality.
