Mr. Edward "Ken" Hendrix, Jr., age 64, of Cave Spring, passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2024 in a Rome hospital. 

Mr. Hendrix was born in Newnan, Georgia on February 23, 1960, son of the late Edward Kenneth Hendrix, Sr. and the Late Barbara Jean Lee Hendrix. He graduated from the Georgia School for the Deaf. Mr. Hendrix was employed by the United States Postal Service for 32 years before his retirement in 2015.  

Mr. Hendrix was married to Mrs. Sarah Jane Hancock Hendrix on June 21, 1980 and was preceded in death by her on August 25, 2023. Besides his wife and parents, Mr. Hendrix was also preceded in death by two loving sisters, Sheri Denise Hendrix Townsell (March 5, 2020) and Mrs. Wendy Elizabeth Hendrix Poff (November 22, 2023). He is survived by his children, Cassie Hendrix and Ashley Hendrix, both of Cave Spring; four grandchildren, Austin Hughes, Dustin Hughes, Chloe Hendrix and Gavin Hendrix. 

In keeping with Mr. Hendrix's wishes, he will be cremated with no formal services.
